Plot

Rex discovers, to his horror, that more is going on in the Book of Monsters than he had at first realized, and he must make a choice between prioritizing the missing library patron or saving the planet. Back in the library, Hypatia has an encounter with a Machiavellian figure from Rex's past which leads to her making an audacious decision. One that may well come back to haunt her....
