Not always easy, but achievable. Because Jiménez, apart from being such a WW admirer, proves that following those legendary runs which Pérez and Byrne blueprinted do work on his approach to the DC main, female character. Indeed, he IS closer to the very same Big George stylism than any other creator ever since, thru detailed composition and superb scenery. About Good Ol' John, Phil re-uses The Invisible Jet and other "Retconnery Adjustments" that fit in well into storytelling. Emotional, mythological and certainly committed, The Princess Of Themyscira balances from nostalgia to her current Status Quo (as of 2001); backed-up, respectable continuity meets brand-new, updated riskiness. Anyways, what I truly dig here IS the Top-Notch ArtWork. Lots of Wonder-WomanS portrayed. Plus many unexpected Friends and Foes. This OB also collects an interesting miniseries entitled "The Return Of Donna Troy" by Jiménez, along with García-López and Pérez: Quite An All-Star Trinity!! #C🙅🏻♀MPULS📚RY
