The Justice League has fallen and only the Titans can save us now!
In the aftermath of Dark Crisis, the world is without a Justice League. Nightwing is determined to step out from his mentor’s shadow and lead his former teen teammates to be the world’s foremost superheroes, protecting all humanity. Nightwing vows to operate openly and with full transparency among his team and allies. But already the Titans are at odds with the powerful Amanda Waller, Borneo is on fire, and the Church of Blood has been reborn. When the Flash is found dead in Titans Tower, it’s a wake-up call for the whole team—can they really handle this much responsibility? Or are they in over their titanic heads?

➡️ Ni fu ni fa aquest nou inici dels Titans on les ganes del lector de veure’ls junts de nou i el dibuix d’Scott són el més destacable, malgrat el que caldria esperar de Taylor. 🚨SPOILERS Flash apareix mort just quan inauguren la nova Torre dels Titans; però és el Flash de dos dies més tard. El grup ho investigarà mentre solucionen problemes mediambientals i el retorn d’una canviada Església de la Sang a qui s’ha unit Tempest i que té quelcom a veure amb un paràsit alienígena. 🔎 Un punt decebedor. Potser hi havia massa esperança pel fet de tenir al grup clàssic sota la batuta de Tom Taylor, i la cosa requeria més peus a terra. Comença amb ganes però els girs estranys amb l’Església de la Sang, certes incongruències del paràsit i el discurs ecologista simplista li fan caure uns quants punts a una trama que tenia en el misteri de Flash molt aconseguit. 👍 Nicola Scott dibuixant interiors, fantàstica. 👎 El discurs ecologista tan simple reaprofitat de “Son of Kal-El”.

Taylor propone una interesante y, sobre todo, entretenida historia en este primer arco argumental, que arranca con un buen misterio, pero que también siembra semillas para el futuro. El guionista es infalible y, aunque quizá no sea un arranque tan bueno como el que tuvo con Nightwing o Jon Kent, podemos apreciar todas sus señas de identidad, creando un equilibrio perfecto entre entretenimiento, acción y corazón. Mención aparte al increíble dibujo de Nicola Scott, que casa a la perfección con el estilo ya de por sí luminoso de Taylor. Muy lindo, bien escritos los personajes, buena dinámica, un par de subplots y mucha refe al run clásico. El Taylor que le gusta a la gente. Y Nicola Scott que aporta su estilo clásico pero un toque moderno.
