Plot

Forty-three of the issue’s 53 pages follow Astrid’s journey deeper underground with Gyges and the Chicken. There she encounters one familiar face and some new, unexpected powers, and is utterly changed by the issue’s end. The chapter also finds Rodney I.O. tracking his Humvee to the site of its demise, and travels back a couple of days to meet a couple of prospective Rings recruit before their own stories are dramatically changed.

Along with the events of chapter 5, centered around Prometheus and his long lost brother, issue 6 drops the curtain on the first half of the Tongues story.
