Este comic nace por una iniciativa de Rubén Lara, "el Bachiller" quien reclutó a un grupo de jóvenes artistas potosinos con la intención de realizar un comic que mostrara el talento que, en aquel entonces bullía en este estado de la república mexicana. Entre ellos estaban Javier Medellín Puyou, Samuel Pérez Salinas, Daniel Pérez Betancourt, Aníbal Negrete,
Carlos Santillán, Israel Uzcanga, Cesar Roque y Daniel Pérez Salinas. Con este grupo de talentos, el Bachiller formó el colectivo "Sacatito p'al Conejo" cuyos integrantes desarrollaron y realizaron el comic de Larva.
