Cuando la llevaba al día en digital, pensaba en este primer volumen que era la más "flojita" de la Trinidad Absolute. Aún así me gustó muchísimo eh, pero no me enamoré del todo hasta el segundo volumen, que es apoteósico. Ahora, leídos en físico y del tirón, me he dado cuenta de lo equivocado que estaba. Es un volumen muy introductorio, sí, pero los malabares que hace Snyder en estos seis números son increíbles. Presenta a un Batman, una Gotham y un elenco totalmente nuevos, establece conceptos a largo plazo, construye un primer obstáculo brutal para este Bruce, nos regala una resolución simplemente acojonante y llena de momentazos... pero lo más importante, deconstruye a Batman hasta su núcleo más básico, quitándole prácticamente todo lo que asociamos con el personaje y, de alguna manera, haciéndolo no sólo reconocible, sino una versión fresquísima y que mola más que la vida misma. Ah, y por supuesto, Dragotta le sienta de muerte, no me imagino esta historia con otro artista.
