La alcaldesa de NO anuncia una fraternidad con los mutantes gracias a sus ayudas y crea un festival en su honor para la semana que viene. La patrulla y los niños pelean contra los atormentados cuando shuvahrak comienza a hablar a traves de deathdream y de ransom pidiendole a todos que no se entrometan en su sucesion, cosa que a logan no le gusta. Shuvahrak explica que escogió a estos 4 ya que todos tienen poderes de nigromancia: calicó con su caballo resucitado, oscilacion tomando habilidades de fallecidos, deathdream hablar con los muertos y transformarse en uno, y ransom que tiene en el pecho el simbolo de la luna de luz oscura de penumbra. Todos confrontan a shuvahrak para que no capte un sucesor, calicó consigue de alguna manera convocar a ascua y esto hace temer a la diosa, por lo que aprovechan para traer al hombre cosa y que arda a su contacto y finalmente les dice que no vuelvan jamas. Henrietta se queda y todos vuelven a casa haven, el perro centinela ya no ataca
