Honestly I was confused until I got the perspective that it was written in and just going through the pages I had so many different emotions and was like this is such a sad book but when I got to the last page I was like omg this is an amazing book and I never would have seen that coming but it was such a good ending. Love everything that Fujimoto did with this one shot manga.

I loved this book. As all Tatsuki Fujimoto books are it’s a little bizarre and that what makes them great. It also made me cry a little. I highly recommend this book. It’s also a one shot so it’s a pretty quick read

Goodbye Eri embaraces the heart of the cinephile. The crazed enthusiasts of the moving pictures and how they can somehow do the impossible; to make people live forever, in a sense. It embraces the art of movies, and creative interpretations of one’s complicated feelings over the drastic or even mundane moments in life. To make your mov(i)e, whether or not people enjoy it, or even agree with how your director direction went, it’s your mov(i)e to make. So make your mov(i)e.
