La historia de me ha gustado, y el dibujo también es notable. Sin embargo, como no soy fan de Lovecraft, para mí se queda en un cómic entretenido, sin llegar a ser algo memorable. Dicho esto, se lee con mucha facilidad, y eso es un gran mérito: Alan Moore logra construir un relato accesible incluso para quienes no estamos familiarizados con el universo lovecraftiano. Quienes conozcan y aprecien la obra de Lovecraft sin duda encontrarán más matices y referencias que enriquecerán la lectura, pero es valioso que el cómic funcione también para los lectores que simplemente buscamos una buena historia y un dibujo atractivo. En definitiva, The Courtyard logra ser disfrutable en ambos niveles.
