Plot

This book reprints The Savage Dragon (Original Limited Series) #'s 1-3, and some scenes from The Savage Dragon Vs. The Savage Megaton Man #1, but with the pages re-colored and in a re-arranged order. New pages are included, featuring scenes where The Dragon meets his fellow Officers for the first time, including William Johnson, Alex Wilde, Phil Dirt, and Howard Niseman.

It is revealed that after The Dragon's confrontation with Bedrock, Debbie Harris' mother sent Debbie's murderous, jealous ex-boyfriend to the Dragon's apartment to kill him. Instead, the boyfriend killed Debbie accidentally, and then took his own life. The Dragon turns to alcohol as a means to deal with the ensuing depression.

It also includes numerous pages and notes from Erik Larsen's personal sketchbook.
