Plot
With all his allegiances wiped away by the mistakes he's made, embedded journalist Matty Roth watches as the Free States of America and the US wage civil war on the island of Manhattan - also known as the DMZ. As Matty covers the battles on the ground, old allies and enemies resurface and Matty must prove that after all he's been through that he is a changed man. Will the choices he makes reflect this?

El tomo me deconcertó al empezar, ¿un flashback de antes de la guerra para contarnos el alzamiento de los FSA? ¿Ahora cuando la serie está a punto de terminar? Pero solo son los dos primeros números del arco argumental largo "Free States Rising", luego la historia vuelve al presente y es muy buena. El tomo se completa con un número restrospectivo e introspectivo sobre Zee. Por cierto, los dos números del flashback están dibujados por Martinbrough y el resto por Burchielli, ambos muy bien.
