Gaiman's script is great as usual, but what really stands out here is J. H. Williams III's art. It's wonderful, evocative and oniric, a perfect fit for a Sandman story.

Pese a ser una obra de Neil Gaiman, el mayor peso está en el arte de J H Williams III que lo define completamente, y el color de Dave Stewart. La historia sin dejar de ser épica le pesa competir con la serie original, por lo que es un producto intermedio. El apartado gráfico es de otro mundo, junto con Promethea deben ser las dos mejores obras visualmente hablando del siglo XXI.
