Plot
Lois is taking a vacation to Brentville, but she and Clark are amazed to see the residents fast asleep, victims of a kindly professor's new "gas" invention. But Superman must stop Baron Munsdorf, who wants the plans for that gas, and other inventions of the professor, including the deadly sub-atomic death ray!

Argumento regulero en este número, con un pueblo entero bajo los efectos del sueño para que los criminales cometan fechorías. Lo que es de destacar es el dibujo, que empieza a experimentar sutiles cambios y mejoras. En esta época ya contaban con ayudantes para Shuster en el pequeño estudio de Cleveland, ya que se empezaba a necesitar ayuda para los lápices ante el creciente éxito del superhéroe.
