El tomo mejora mucho respecto al anterior gracias a que presenta una historia más cerrada, sin ignorar las subtramas generales de la serie. Así, tenemos una eliminatoria europea completa (ida y vuelta) y la historia del robo del coche de Castel que da título al álbum. Esta es un poco inocentona, pero está muy bien contada. Por su parte, el dibujo sigue muy bien, como siempre, y las escenas de fútbol están bien.
