Plot
While Jay Garrick recruits Johnny Chambers and Max Mercury to confront a mysterious threat, Wally and Barry are lured into a trap atop the Broome building. But after Barry escapes the trap he refuses to help Wally and leaves him to die.

I’ve always had something against Barry Allen, always thought there was this really dark side to him…I finally realize it’s from this issue. I must have had this issue after reading the great run of Born to Run by waid and never gone beyond this issue. Now I know what’s going on and I want to apologize to Barry. Besides that this is a great issue, great storyline. I also did not realize that Max Mercury was a forgotten hero until THIS issue!?! How cool is that!!! I always thought he was just in the flash stories for years. Really really really good stuff. I love this run.
