ElfQuest: Hidden Years #26

Plot

There is an all-on seige from the flocks of mutated wild species on the world of two moons. These are Winnowill's beast-children who have been adducing her arcane dark powers and becoming more vicious, and monstrous. They are zombified under the mental direction and eventually find the new Holt. The tribe fights off the animals valiantly, but can only withstand and defeat the ones who attempt to reach their den. Teir becomes an exile who is despised by the Wolfriders. Ember resolves as chief that she must follow and track him.Meanwhile Skywise, no longer needed to be Ember's advisor, runs off on his wolf to find Aroree, his lover who split with Cutter's task force in the mini-series ElfQuest: Shards, near #12 along that timeline.
