Otro universo en el que Peter Parker es particularmente miserable: es el futuro, logró tener una relación estable con Mary Jane y un hijo, pero, por lo que Peter considera su culpa -o culpa de Spiderman-, MJ muere. De ahí que Peter adoptará una filosofía de no salvar gente, no meterse en problemas, sino cuidarse a uno mismo y a los suyos. Su hijo lo ve como un pusilánime y mal padre, pero bueno, es sólo el primer tomo.
