It’s been a while since I’ve read an honest to goodness BATMAN story, usually opting for a nightwing/red hood/ Red Robin story. This was refreshingly light for a Bruce story, with a ton of cheeky dialogue between Bats and Alfred, in stark contrast to the deathly serious and scary reaper, which was probably the point. Very Jim Lee hush inspired Batman for me. Just a good time and what annuals should be, though I wish it was a complete wrap up.
