Shadow King trata de engañar a ambos por separado. A Storm se le aparece como Annihilation/Genesis y también como otros enemigos que ha tenido en su vida. Trata de convencerla de hallar el equilibrio junto a él. Por su parte Magneto es tentado por otro Magneto (con traje clásico) que representa su enojo, pero él reconoce que es parte suya, aunque ha evolucionado. Al final Magneto y Storm se unen contra Shadow King, pero ella queda moribunda... Para que Blue Marvel logre hacerla despertar en nuestro plano. Y el portal está abierto, siendo cruzado por un Magneto revivido (y más joven).
