For one brief moment, it seemed like Pako and Amelie might finally have their happy ending. Then an offhand comment from Amelie made Pako think her responsible for his father’s death, leading him to run her through in a fit of rage and grief. Their ancient truce broken, the werewolves and vampires now prepare for war. Will history repeat itself, or can two lovers show their families a different path?
