Los Decepticons han logrado abrir un portal entre la Tierra y Cybertron, y por él llega Shockwave quien se enfrenta violentamente con Optimus. Los Autobots llevan la de perder, pero por el portal logra cruzar Elita y evita que los Combaticons crucen también. Jazz y Cliffjumper han sido capturados. Mientras, Astrotrain secuestra a Spike, pero llega Beachcomber al rescate.
