-jean se presenta ante un planeta que le teme, donde vive adani hija de un sacerdote extremista, y los salva de la explosión de su sol absorbiendo el excedente de energia de este -una prisión intergalactica al borde de un agujero negro está a punto de colapsar y nova que es el guardia llama a jean para que les ayude -jean va para alla despues de hablar con scott mediante su vínculo telepático -en la prision jean detiene a presos peligrosos como morg el ejecutor pero deja escapar a perrikus por querer estabilizar el agujero negro y salvar las vidas de la prision -perrikus aterriza en el planeta de adani y mata a su padre, lo cual enfada mucho a esta, que está contando la historia en pasado
