Plot
Writer Brian Wood weaves another tale of lost Viking history, as foot soldier Mads gives a grunt's-eye view of the famous Siege of Paris where hundreds defended against thousands, and political maneuvering was as important as the clash of the shield wall. Even while they fight off the invading horde, Mads and company still have to make it through the brutal winter to survive.

Hubiera disfrutado más del tomo si no hubiera visto la cuarta temporada de Vikings. Los tres números del asedio de Paris recordando la serie de TV y viendo las diferencias y algunas similitudes... El tomo se completa con dos historias de un número muy del estilo de Wood. La primera es sobre un cazador, su soledad, el rigor del invierno en esas latitudes y lo que pasa cuando se alcanza el punto de no retorno. Está muy bien y empatizas tanto con el cazador como con su presa. La segunda es la que da título al TPB y trata de los problemas de ser heredera y no heredero. Todas las historias tienen un dibujo muy bueno.
