I can already tell how much I’m going to love this series. For years I’ve seen these covers of the first ten or so issues and thought they looked so cool, but it wasn’t until I saw it was Geoff Johns (don’t hold the spelling against him) writing that I bit the bullet. Johns is so great at making little moments important and big moments into small emotional beats. I have a feeling that my pictures I upload for this series is going to be primarily panels I love instead of Ads of the time. Loved this issue. Especially the Superman stuff. I wish supes was as popular as Bats, but in some ways…I like that he isn’t. He’s more mine that way. Superman is what we should strive to be. I strive everyday to do the right thing, like Kal-el. Sometimes I can’t do it, and I sink into becoming more like Bruce, but when im faced with a hard decision and I take the Superman way….it feels good to be in the sun and not the shadows.
