En este segundo tomo tenemos un pequeño cambio respecto al primero, ya que la subtrama del triángulo amoroso deja paso a la del senador Byrd empeñado en que Tony Stark comparta la tecnología de Iron Man con el gobierno. Esta no me ha resultado tan interesante y las historias son bastante sota-caballo-rey. Sin embargo, la experiencia de lectura es muy buena, gracias al trabajo de Gene Colan, cuyo narrativa gráfica y composición de página, en mi opinión, estaba adelantada a su tiempo.
