This was always a gamble, is Batman:Jazz REALLY about Jazz or is that someone’s name? Or is it a small little footnote in the story? NOPE. Charlie Parker is a main fuckin character. Sure it’s not actually Charlie Parker “Bird” it’s “Byrd” and that’s not Dizzy it’s “Buzzy” :sigh: I realize you gotta do that, but it’s a little silly. And Batman showing up at the jazz club, through the front door, full costume, his shoulders up like a teenage boy as his first bar? The most silly thing I’ve ever seen. I get it, but still. Still love this….but…The Brothers of the Bop? No Gerard. No. Here I am thinking you’re a real Jazz fan, and this is the Jazz-themed villains you come up with? Skatting barons that look right out of a 90s clip art album cover for a kids “jazz” collection consisting mostly of Frank Sinatra and Louis Prima (no disrespect) but that ain’t jazz.
