Plot

Este Omnibus de más de 600 páginas recopila cuatro miniseries consecutivas de los Ultimate Avengers, de seis números cada una, que retoma a los Ultimates tras el evento Ultimatum. Consigue un resultado aceptable, entretenido de leer, pero que no llega a la excelencia pretendida con la incorporación de un guionista top como es Mark Millar (que en Ultimate X-Men sí lo bordó) y dibujantes de la talla de Carlos Pachecho, Leinil Francis Yu y Steve Dillon, excelencia que en cambio sí se consiguió con su contemporánea de Ultimate Spider-Man Vol.2 protagonizada por Miles Morales. Las miniseries dejan buenos momentos como el origen de Cráneo Rojo, la captura de Punisher o una despiadada lucha frente a vampiros, pero también otros menos acertados. La edición está bien salvo la rebaja del gramaje de papel que se instauró en esa época. La encuadernación es en guaflex, y el tamaño Omnibus, y como extras tenemos 19 páginas con portadas variantes, lápices, diseños de personajes y proceso creativo.
