No es la mejor obra de Watsuki, del que seguramente se esperaba demasiado tras Rurouni Kenshin. El primer tomo es sensacional, pero a partir del segundo, la historia avanza a trompicones y sin profundizar demasiado en el trasfondo del trio protagonista. El tercer tomo da un cierre apresurado a la historia que fue cancelada prematuramente.
