This type art I think is what pushed me away from Marvel as a young lad, just a little too dark, arch and messy. Now, however, this art is really interesting. Sure, it looks a little like the bad image stuff, but much more detailed and purposeful. Though I don’t think sequentially it’s very clear. I also want to read more Namor, the language here is so high it’s almost silly, but I love it.
