Origin book. Unfortunately the book suffers because of what feels to be a forced background. The writing is still really good as you burn through the pages to find out what happens next… but there is a missed opportunity to have the reader connect with the main character and the mystery killer. Tons of interesting characters though. Recommended pick up for sure.
