El fiel Patton es ahora el «jefe Patton» y a Tracy lo acompaña un nuevo compañero, Sam Catchem.
Más policía, más realista, más moderno que Patton, la llegada de Sam Catchem a la serie supone una bocanada de aire fresco. Es un poli más al estilo de como son los polis del cine y la literatura de su tiempo. Un compañero que no espera que Tracy le diga lo que tiene que hacer o investigar. Y que se equivoca, y recibe palizas, y lo hieren.
Y sonríe. Casi, casi como el propio Tracy.

Historias mejor construidas pero igual de divertidas y locas. Y llega Sam con su aspecto tan divertido.
