Cute, independent, and full of attitude, Gwen, Daphne and Rita are three girls doing what they gotta do to survive in big bad Freak City.

THIS ISSUE: When word around the hood spreads about the Grrls' illegal endeavors, Gwen, Daphne and Rita are forced to go legit and get real jobs. Rita uses her artistic talent to hook-up with a local graffiti crew and finds love along the way. Meanwhile, Daphne encounters the horrors of working behind a bar at the Weird Hog and Gwen struggles and strives through the monotony of "normal" employment until she finds what could be her true calling.
