Primera etapa de Garth Ennis al mando de Punisher y es todo una salvajada divertidísima. El gran acierto del guionista es entender que Frank Castle es un loco desquiciado y que sus motivos para matar indiscriminadamente están más allá de cualquier justificación socialmente aceptable. Establecido esto lo que tenemos es una sucesión de personajes locos y asesinatos cada vez más descerebrados, inhumanos y diabólicos.
