Plot

Kevin Matchstick finds himself both entranced and confused by the witches' covening of Isis Hunter and her two sisters, Magda and Ish. The Sibling Trio have come to help disperse the arcane energy that emanates from the chilly city to the north. Stronger still is the kinetic attraction felt between Kevin and the sensual Magda -- a pairing foretold in an earlier prophecy and which the former had tried his best to avoid. Ladies man Wally Ut has plenty to say about this which only adds to the Pendragon's distractions. Frustrated by his efforts to continue the hunt, Kevin and Joe return to the hilltop graveyard where they had encountered the Red Caps. Convinced that the cemetery is a portal to the lair of the Pale Incanter, they set out to gain entrance by keeping watch for further nasties.
