I’m sorry but, maybe it’s the Fridging influence but this first scene of Kyle at the Gravesite of a woman whose death he is MOST DEFINITELY partly responsible for, felt far too light and insincere. He’s crying at the wrong times, joking too much, why does he not have REAL roses? A REAL umbrella, this was not an opportunity to show how cool his ring is again. This was an emotional moment that should have been grounded in reality and given Kyle a new depth. But instead it feels like…ah shit, we gotta talk about that right? Okay give it three pages and then boom he’s moved on. Jesus I don’t even think Stan Lee back in the 60s would have moved so fast. Boo.
