This was a really fun issue. Dan Jurgens is actually a REALLY great artist, I hate that I had this ick vibe for his name on the cover for some reason. His art reminds me very fondly of Bob McLeod. Just a fun little lark of an issue. With everyone fulfilling their clean character troupes Supes is fair and just Hal is brave and conflicted Guy is a brash pervTwo things stand out to me in this ish -Supes doesn’t know Hal Jordan’s identity!!! And finds out “Jordan” is either his first or last name here. Love that Clark trusts that he will learn it in time and respects Hal’s keeping it quiet.And a little bit of a missed opp is when guy has Supes cape and the big S turns and shouts let go of my cape! I think if this was written today it would have been a period at least “let go of my cape.” Or “Let. Go. Of. The. Cape.” Or “Guy. Let. Go.” Or “Let. Go” Or Just a look, and guy let’s go.Supes don’t need to shout, we know who the biggest dick in the room is.
