La historia principal tiene tres actos muy marcados. En el primero Tarzan doma a un león, en el segundo hace un amigo y en el tercero, sin saberse por qué, descubre que Jane, Boy y la mujer de su recién conocido amigo han sido capturados y han de rescatarlas. Una historia muy sencilla y un poco aburrida. En cuanto al complemento, empieza "Two Against the Jungle", un "serial" sobre dos niños perdidos en la selva. Veremos, pero no promete mucho...
