Superman, having torn down a slum area so that newer, more modern apartments could be built, is labeled as a crook by the Chief of Police, who assigns Detective Reilly (better known as "100% Reilly", because he always gets his man) to bring the Man of Tomorrow in.

Un detective trata de descubrir la identidad de Superman. Obviamente, fracasa. Poco que destacar de este número salvo el culebrón. Lois pone a caldo a Clark cuando éste le pregunta por qué no quiere nada con él. Ella le confiesa su enamoramiento por Superman y Clark se descojona.
