With the Super Guardians dead, Lilandra gives the Exiles power rings to help defend Galactus from the Silver Surfer; Realizing this is not going to be enough, Sabretooth petitions for and is given the power of a herald of Galactus to counter the Surfer and save his team from dying a violent and cosmic death.
