Plot

Madrid returns home after a year of mapping segments of the Astral Rifts, but is a little early for the annual family cookout. Before anyone can join her, she witnesses a bizarre, violent scene projected across the entire sky—but her companion Subtracto doesn't see it at all! She's going to need some consultation and help. Meanwhile, as Ginasets up the barbecue, Charlie and Tifanny (well, mainly Charlie) start plotting a romantic reunion for Madrid and her ex-husband (and fellow Djinn), Dao!
