This is most definitely in the running for my favorite single comic book issue of all time. So many of these images are ingrained in my psyche, from big eye catching moments like Dick flipping out of his bed, to small moments like Alfred picking up the orange juice soaked newspaper. This is by far the seminal dick Grayson origin, mostly since it FEELS like a dick Grayson story, there’s a lightness even in the dark moments, showing that deep down, that while Dick and Bruce both lost their parents, Dick chose the light and Bruce chose the dark. Will reread this comic until the day I die.
