Al ser una precuela, captura bien a la esencia de la serie original. Hay momentos de suspenso, terror y magia de aquella época gótica. La búsqueda por el destino de Mina, los traumas de la protagonista femenina, y la desesperación del protagonista masculino por encontrar su principal objetivo. Hay buen nivel de dibujo, y hay un juego de paleta de colores que pasa de oscuro a uno cálido para luego volver al color original, sin perder la esencia legítima de la historia. En lo narrativo está bien, introductorio al programa.
