Plot

Lufas’s and Sei’s parties converge on the martial city of Laegjarn, where a fighting tournament is currently underway. The real drama, however, is unfolding outside the arena—and in the shadows. The star-crossed devilfolk Prince Terra and Luna desperately seek a way to be free from their race’s cruel fate. Meanwhile, Debris Spess, heir to Laegjarn’s ruling family, has aspirations to become the prophesied “Chosen” instead of Sei, and he will stop at nothing to achieve them. Not only does Spess beat his opponents in the tournament with suspicious ease, the sadistic young nobleman has far worse plans in store for those pleasing to his eye. It’s up to Sei and friends to put an end to Spess’s dastardly deeds, but they might just find themselves outclassed by yet another secret weapon up his sleeve.
