Plot
Life and death struggles for Marvel's First Family! Just when the FF were coming to terms with Reed Richards' demise, he makes a suitably fantastic return! But that means Doctor Doom is alive too! How did they both survive? Hyperstorm has all the answers, but his incredible lineage means he may be the one foe the Fantastic Four can't beat. El final de la etapa DeFalco-Ryan y el final, final, del primer volumen. Un poco injusto eso de que dibujes casi 70 números de los 4F y te despidan cuando quedan dos para acabar la etapa y el volumen. Muy mal Marvel. DeFalco se apura, y se nota, para rematar tramas y que todo acabe con la llegada de Onslaught y el universo de bolsillo de heroes reborn. No mucha gente le tiene cariño a esta etapa pero yo disfruto mucho releyéndola. Los bajones con los crossovers son obvios (el de Atlantis fue especialmente vergonzoso) pero cuando la colección va a su bola con Johnny y Lyja odiándose/amándose, Kristoff enamorándose de Cassey Lang, Namor queriendo arrimarle la cebolleta a Susan o Reed volviendo ermitaño, es toda una gozada. Los dos números finales de Pacheco dan gustito por el dibujo, porque el guión es un batiburrillo de tortas. Se agradece que el tomo incluya el especial con el final de Onslaught y un número sacacuartos repasando los 30 años de historia (y ya llevamos 60) del grupo
