La resolución de la batalla luego de fallar miserablemente en el primer intento. Pero para lograrlo, Misato no tiene mejor idea que hacer que Shinji y la "simpática" Asuka vivan todo el tiempo juntos para poder sincronizarse al 100% y así poder vender al unísono al enemigo. Es una pena que con el manga se pierda la música que se esccucha en el anime, solo nos queda imaginarla o ponerla de fondo mientras leemos esa parte.
