Plot

With the foolishness of continuing the campaign obvious to everyone, Lieutenant Colonel Lergen heads to the Kingdom of Iloda to initiate peace negotiations. As the possibility of failure still looms overhead, Deputy Chief Rudersdorf prepares his contingency plan. His comrade, Zettour, disagrees and instead places his faith in the goddess.
