Alright. This is it. I’ve waited my entire life to read this series. It is intrinsically baked into every story in DC I have ever read, is always on the lists of best stories, changed everything, and continues to be an incredibly important moment in all of storytelling. Eh. It’s okay. I’m joking, but it is a little self-serious, but for an event of this magnitude, it earns it. A LOT is getting pushed through 33 pages of story, with Perez putting in a ton of work. It’s exciting and confusing and I’m excited to push through this. Waited for years to collect this series in single issues instead of reading it in a collection. Started at the Tocaya at the Beverly Center. Where will I be when I finish?
