Por aquel entonces, debía haber una apuesta decidida en Toutain por dos de los mas grandes en el terror escrito: Poe y Lovecraft. Desde la colorida y cthuliana portada de Pelaez, hasta el interior, con Corben adaptando magnificamente al Poe de "La caida de la casa Usher", a Breccia adaptando a Lovecraft y su "La llamada de Cthulhu". Bien es cierto que esta última, a nivel gráfico, me ha dejado más bien frío que otras adaptaciones del artista uruguayo. Destacaría también "Muerte anunciada", de Echevarria/Auraleón, una historia que tanto a nivel argumental como gráfico es auténticamente terrorífica.
