Plot
The very first Hellblazer collection ORIGINAL SINS is available in a new edition that includes John Constantine’s appearances in SWAMP THING. This is the first of a series of new HELLBLAZER editions starring Vertigo’s longest running antihero, John Constantine, England’s chain-smoking, low-rent magus.
This first collection is a loosely connected series of tales of John’s early years where Constantine was at his best and at his worst, all at the same time.

Hace tiempo que le tenía ganas a la colección de Constantine, pero, 300 números... Así, no me decidí hasta que encontré varios tomos de la nueva edición en inglés saldados, y ahora creo que la voy a intentar completar. El primer tomo me ha gustado mucho, aunque creo que falta algún número anterior a la serie propia de Hellblazer, para terminar de ubicar al ocasional lector que como yo, no se haya acercado nunca al personaje hasta este momento. Los guiones son lo mejor, y el dibujo, aunque creo que se puede decir que es feo, en el fondo va bien con el tono de la historia. Finalmente, esta nueva edición se acerca bastante al concepto de "integral" e incluye dos números de Swamp Thing, que me han costado un poco de entender, ya que apenas conozco la saga de la Cosa del Pantano.

Una serie profunda, oscura y madura. Dos veces me lo he tenido que leer para empezar a meterme bien en la historia de Constantine.
