Additional info

Plot
Everything sinister that happens to Superman in Metropolis seems to have the unlucky number "3" attached. Our supporting cast members are all caught in emotional triangles of their own making. The only thing that doesn't come in a 3-pack is Superman — there's only two of him!
This issue continues the interconnected storytelling of DC's "Triangle Era." The cover connects with Action Comics #742 to form a single, continuous image. As the story unfolds, Superman faces a series of escalating threats, all while navigating the complex personal lives of those around him. Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and a host of supporting characters find themselves in emotional entanglements that mirror the chaotic events in Metropolis. The narrative builds toward a climax that forces the Man of Steel to confront not only external dangers but also the fragile bonds of his human relationships.
The story explores the personal lives of supporting characters like Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Ashbury Armstrong. It features the first appearance of Ashbury Armstrong, a character who becomes a recurring antagonist for the Kents.
